this is a portrait of my very lovely friend kate rose. she is an artist and is seated in front of one of her paintings of a fairy, dressed as a fairy. i LOVE this image. it captures her spirit, beauty, vitality and playfulness. this is truly one of my most successful images to date.

I love the little pop of violet in the bottom right corner - it helps anchor the vibrancy of the painting in the top. While i don't know Kate Rose, I feel like i get a good sense of her personality through this piece. Lovely work :)
